Smack dab on the map, it's Miami City. Strays come fully equipped at young ages to tackle the roughest hurricanes. South Beach has more to take in than the Jersey Shore. Timesquare happens at every corner. Miami City isn't like Kansas babe, 'cus the packs and gangs will have your lips peeled around every corner. Hah, Miami's mutts hold their terfs with a primitive mentality which runs so viciously in their city slick veins.
Somethings gone horribly wrong....
After the massive shift in temperature, the climate control is haywire. Although it's not snowing YET, it breaks the winter temperature for Miami by a ten-fold. Weak skinned dogs are at risk of freezing to death, you have been warned.
Miami is closing forever. I dont know where to start. I have no excuses. Im sorry. All i can say is that my life took a dramatic turn. I used to have all the free time in the world for Miami but now things are different. I've entered college and its keeping me on windows word 24/7. I have to go to class and then study till nightime. I barely have time for recreational activities such as roleplaying and its pretty damn sad if i do say so myself. But anyways that is my reason. And i am so embarressed too.
Well at least I can say that i have had amazing moments on this site. Ive b=met friends that I will never forget and participated in epic threads. No lie this site changed my life. Forever always I will keep the memories of this site in my heart.
I know we've experience tragic up and downs but Miami still rose and held strong. You know why? Because of all of you! You are the most loyal group of members i have ever had. I am so honored to have you guys on my Miami. You and your characters were the reason for it's amazing uniqueness. I love every single one of you. no lie.
Well it is time I go and do some busy college shit. However... things are brightening up. It seems that I will be having for time in the near future to dive back into the wonderful rp community.
Check back soon. Ive got a new idea. A traditional site that i've been wanting to make for a LONG time. Ill have the link up here and on all the other old Miami sites once i finish it. I REALLY hope to see some of my old members there.
I raise a toast to the good and bad times here on Miami!
We've held a good, strong run.
I love you guys!!

The Garage This is an in depth look into the thoughts, feelings, and experiences of the characters in Miami. It can reveal things that others may never have wanted to know, or bring light to things you have always wanted to know. It’s a gritty and clustered place, but sometimes the information is helpful. Take a look around or make a thread for your own character. You can make it fancy, or make it simple. Here, it is all about the characters.

Downtown Miami A once thriving city, filled with just as many people as their where food. Now it's all ruins, barely the sound of scurrying rats and scares humans walking for their own life. Now it homes the few remaining dogs that have survived along with infested waters that plague most of Miami, green in color.

Miami Metro Zoo A once international tourist spot has now been flooded. Very few exotic animals remain, mainly carnivores that feast on the carcasses of drowned mammals and birds. The bars are rustic, twisted and broken with a 4 inch water level throughout the entire 10 acre zoo. Venture cautiously canine, or you might be a meal.

Eola Park Silent is a name this park always used to have. And even now after the pandemic Hurricane, it's still silent, only this time, it's a daunting and ghostly silence that travels this park. Destroyed benches, swings and overturned trees litter this once beautiful place.

The Junkyard Littered, nasty and broken. The rust has just about eating up all the metal, and even more now with all the large water levels rushing about. By now all the junk here has no use whatso-ever, so humans are rarely found around here on their battle for survival, but surviving dogs love this place.

South Beach Looking for fun in the sun? Then I guess you can come venture this way. Above ground tides have made the place a man-made swamp area. Some dogs come here, and even some humans, since it's their main source of water, to bathe. Remember, there is no running water or electricity in this city anymore.
Metro Rail Internationally known for being the S.FL's largest underground metro system, built in 2016, is now covered in decay and just stays there. After the hurricane, many now homeless people call this place their home, knowing they are safe from raging and rising tides at times. Dogs also flourish here, provided with darkness as their comfort.

Dock and Warehouse Co. (1 sub-board) On the east side of Liberty City is a large port with docks leashes and a couple of massive cargo ships that are now destroyed and abandoned. Here humans might be seen trying to fish, or dogs trying to feast on a scampering rat that knew better.

Carribean Market The Caribbean Market was a busy strip of South America and the Caribbean in the middle of an American city. It was famous for its fish market which made it a popular hang out for the city’s stay cats.

Portland Vale Blvd. A hangout used by the tougher dogs of Miami. Here even the humans know that dog is top boss. The broken down walls hide a tightly knit group of dogs that show no mercy, and thy themselves are rouges. The roads are broken down, holding small pools of water here and there.
County Prison (1 sub-board) The country prison is an old and abandoned building at the edge of Flagler Street. The doorways and windows were shut tight with wooden boards, but after the storm, the sunlight filters into dark cells. Many creatures have found a way in regardless. Inside one can observe the horrors and torture that have taken place within these walls. The hallways are dark, uninviting, and cold. From either side, the bars of cells send chills down the spine. This is truly a house of terror. However, for those that can look past that, the prison is an excellent place for strays to bunk down in. Just don’t get caught in a locked cell.

Underground Sewers The underground sewers are more like underground tunnels, really. Filthy water trickles down from the cracks above as a river of mucky water flows through the center of the tunnel. Diseased rodents and the lowest of street life mongrels thrive here in this land of horror. The devil’s children welcome you into their soiled home. Unless your sniffer isn’t working properly, the stench here is nearly unbearable. Enter at your own risk and watch your step. Infection can spread easily in a place like this.

Ocean Drive Ocean Drive is the street right next to the beach! Too bad the waves here are even more powerful, making the currents too harsh for humans and less much so, dogs venture. The boardwalk is littered with boats and there's a section with a large count of boats pushed up against the wooden boards, seeing as how the waves push them together, they wont be going anywhere soon.

The Keys From Key Largo to Key West, each island has its own unique paradise. Well that was then. Now the small chain of islands lay in ruins, the smallest ones being now completely underwater, it's become a haven for many dolphins when ths tide is high. Some dogs could be found stranded on the islands when they passed on a low tide, let's all pray a well being for them.

Cypress Everglades (1 sub-board) Most likely one of the most devastated areas about. Most of the low plant life has drowned when the marsh was over flooded, and now the waters start to disperse. The earth is a tawny color as the cries of crows is all you can hear. Gators roam about more then ever now, having bred successfully there are more then 300 in all the acres throughout the everglades. So, it goes without caution, watch your step pup.

Ta-Miami Trail The infamous trail that takes you from Tampa to Miami and back! Now the side of the road is torn and broken, and the entire road near the south Florida section is flooded. Humans might actually follow this trail, but many have died in the process of trying, the unyielding forest besides it hosting many beasts with perilous natures.

The Suburbs Found yourself in the suburbs have you? This is a big place with rows of houses, cars and stores. Everything's broken down but there are a few stores that seem to still hold up against the waters around. People are found stealing for their own life as various dogs reside in the abandoned homes.
